John Butcher continues to show his great interest to reseach, to innovate in music.
In this collection of live recordings from Japan (2004) and Europe (2006), each location reserves a surprise since Butcher adapts the saxophones to the acoustic environments of his performances.
Some tracks are “treated” using amplification and electronic feedback, some effects are obtained utilizing the natural echo of the space.
This disc really describes a perfect combination between space and sound.
