Pablo Reche, artist from Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a very well-known name in the avant-garde scene. His research goal is to explore different forms of noise, achievable by the use of various sources (field recordings, objects, electronics, amongst others) skillfully manipulated and reworked, with stunning results in terms of sound.
Two releases in 2011, both published by SiRiDisc in December: "Estructura Ultravioleta" and "Drenaje Subterráneo" (in collaboration with Juan José Calarco). Pablo also contributed to a compilation issued in the same year (see below). His latest work "Embalse ( I )", out this month, can be downloaded at Impulsive Habitat website.
