Confront is a label founded in 1996 and run by English cellist Mark Wastell.
The guideline is to realize a catalogue containing performances recorded in various places acoustically suitable to support the musicians, or live concerts.
During over twenty years since its birth many important artists of free improvisation music scene got involved in this project.
