Yui Onodera - Suisei

2007 has been a significant year for Yui Onodera (a lot of releases for many important labels of the experimental scene like and/OAR, Drone Records, Gears Of Sand, Mystery Sea).
“Suisei” could be well described by the cover of the album (a dominating sense of calm that lives into progressive sequences of soundscapes).
“Suisei” is a compound of environmental sounds, water caresses, pump organ vibrations, in other words, material for subconscious exploration.
The force of Yui consists in his ability to making catched sounds fascinating, his simplicity to creating always different textures with a singular approach to the concept of field recordings.
